Michelin X-Ice Snow 255/55R18 109T XL Winter Tire

Built for winter, the Michelin X-Ice Snow is designed for maximum mobility and safety, not just when it's new but for seasons to come. Experience winter grip made to last, including long-lasting snow performance with excellent snow braking and improved snow performance, plus long-lasting ice performance. Michelin is an industry leader in ice braking, and the X-Ice Snow brakes up to 2.7 m shorter than a leading competitor. A next generation V-shape tread design creates an optimal balance between snow, ice and wet handling as well as increased resistance to aquaplaning. The severe-winter directional tread pattern features optimized tread blocks that allow for improved ice performance, and the high void ratio provides deep snow traction along with increased snow, slush and water evacuation. Variable thickness sipes make the tire extremely stable. Interlocking and full-depth sipes designed for greater stability within the tread block provide long-lasting winter performance and even wear, which stays smooth and even throughout the life of the tire. On ice, water is extracted from the icy surface and evacuated for improved tread contact; in snow, the sipes are filled with snow, and the snow-to-snow contact increases snow performance for grip, handling and braking. With excellence in longevity, the X-Ice Snow lasts up to 1 additional winter than the average of leading competitors.
