Four high-angle tread grooves remove water to reduce the risk of hydroplaning and boost handling on wet roads, while a solid center rib increases stability at higher speeds and also reduces road noise. A silica-based rubber compound increases grip and lowers rolling resistance to fend off uneven wear and enhance fuel efficiency.
